Governor Blanco: "Hey Culligan Man!"


Today Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco unveiled her disaster relief plan at a press conference, held in her office in Baton Rouge. The comprehensive five-year plan is designed to restore air and water quality in New Orleans and environs ravaged by hurricane Katrina.

In the proposal made jointly with Mayor Ray Nigan, Sharper Image will be the prime contractor for air purification and disease prevention. The prime water contractor for drainage pumping, levee reconstruction, and water purification will be The Culligan Man .

Blanco is applying for $4.5 billion in federal funds for the construction of twin Quadra Towers to house the massive Ionic Breeze Purifiers developed by the Sharper Image, Inc.
