Thanks, Senator Kennedy
The nation's top military leaders clashed with Sen. Edward M. Kennedy yesterday, challenging his assertion that the Iraq war has descended into a Vietnam-like "quagmire."
Having argued that Iraq is a distraction from the war against terrorism,
Kennedy reiterated his view that Iraq is a needless quagmire with no end in sight.
