Annan Must Go
Yup, it's a summer rerun. But I can't say it more graciously. Annan's hasty and gratuitous accusation that Israel hit the UN building intentionally is irresponsible at best, and stunningly inappropriate for one claiming to be an impartial broker. With this play, Annan tips his anti-Israel hand, and he needs to resign or to be removed forthwith..

Israel a Mistake?
Anti-Semitism of Euro-left comes to America.
Hunker Down With History
WashingtonPost.com, by Richard CohenTuesday, July 18, 2006; Page A19
The greatest mistake Israel could make at the moment is to forget that Israel itself is a mistake. It is an honest mistake, a well-intentioned mistake, a mistake for which no one is culpable, but the idea of creating a nation of European Jews in an area of Arab Muslims (and some Christians) has produced a century of warfare and terrorism of the sort we are seeing now. Israel fights Hezbollah in the north and Hamas in the south, but its most formidable enemy is history itself.

UN: Keep Out
In disarming Hezbollah, Israel is doing the World's work. This may be the last opportunity to get this job done before the terrorists go nuclear. The last thing needed now is the UN to inject itself, or for the West to pressure Israel for restraint.
Peace Through Victory
Gillerman says it well on O'Reilly's show, and the video's on Hot Air.
Criticizing disproportionate response? It's just the Powell Doctrine, right?
